Slowwburn
"Josie"
2020 AQHA Mare
14.2 hands
For NRCHA or NCHA.
Slowwburn is by Cat Ichi (LTE $238,691 and has produced over $6 Million), and out of Poo By Choice (LTE $7,700) who is by $5 Million sire, SR Instant Choice. Maternal Granddam, Dual Poo has LTE of $86,705. Every horse on this mare's papers is an NCHA earner. Show her, and then breed her.
Watch her work. She speaks for herself.
Jo has all the style and eye appeal you could ever want in one. She is a tremendous athlete with strong, dynamic movements that feel effortless underneath you. The stronger she gets, the better she gets. She has two years of cowhorse training and has most recently been cutting. She lopes around with class and changes leads well, has a huge stop, and gets underneath herself in her turnarounds. She will drop to her knees and drag your feet across the ground in the cutting and herd work without getting stuck in the ground and gets across a cow efficiently. She wants to find the answer, doesn't like to get in trouble, and gives you everything she has.
Jo is a pretty mare with chrome and a soft eye and enough size and strength to do any job. She is very expressive on a cow and keeps her ears forward with a relaxed look to her. She is captivating to watch, and you can tell she loves her job.
Josie has been hauled and is ready to show. She has been shown NRCHA and could easily transition over to NCHA, AQHA, Versatility, Stock Horse of Texas, or even switch careers into roping. She rides well out on the mountain and isn't startled by wildlife or the dogs running under her legs. She's easy to cruise around on, takes no prep, is safe with time off, and could be maintained at home with a non pro. She has been regularly used as a lesson horse for amateurs, non pros, and youth to learn cowhorse and cutting on.
Josie lives in a stall, run, or turned out with other horses. She's an easy keeper and easy to handle in every way. Hauls, ties, clips, bathes, is good for the farrier, etc. She is sound with no maintenance and no history of lameness. She has never been injected and goes fine either barefoot or in shoes.
Pre-purchase exams welcome at buyer's expense.
