Dreamin By Starlight

"Chip"

2018 Palomino AQHA Gelding

14 hands

Chip is adorable. Not only is he sweet and personable, but he is cute to look at and so pretty. He is sired by Starlight Gunslinger, and out of Chics Out This Dream by Magnum Chic Dream (NRHA Hall of Fame 11 Million Dollar Sire).

Chip has a naturally low-headed and relaxed way of going around, which makes him visually appealing and a good candidate for the show pen. He is more of a push ride but will move out well when asked.

He was used as an all-around horse to cruise the ranch and trail ride on until he started cowhorse training this spring. He has a huge stop and hunts his turnarounds. He works the flag well and has a good amount of draw and fold. He's been started on cattle and used to turn back. He moves well enough to do the ranch riding or reining, but also learns quickly and could go on to show in cowhorse, stock horse, or versatility. With his good mind, balance and stop, he would make also make a heel horse or breakaway prospect. Chip rides in a bridle, snaffle, halter, or bridleless, bareback or saddled. He rides out on the mountain alone or with other horses and has a strong walk outside despite being more of a push ride in the arena. He goes down the road, through trees, down embankments, through water, over deadfall, etc. He isn't startled by wildlife and is used to dogs, cattle, equipment, and the like.

Chip is sound with no maintenance or history of lameness, and no vices. He lives in a stall, run, or turned out with other horses, but is low in the pecking order and loves the pampering of a stall or run. He's an easy keeper and hauls, ties, clips, bathes, is good for the farrier, etc.

Pre-purchase exams welcome at buyer's expense.
