it was one time

Thank you for all of the interest in this athletic mare. She has sold to a forever home in New York!
It Was One Time is a 2017 mare who currently stands at 14.3h at the withers and 15h at the hip. She is currently shod behind, but barefoot in front. Video was taken after three weeks off while we did barn renovations.
Sired by a son of One Time Pepto who was out of a daughter of Dual Rey, and out of a Peptoboonsmal daughter who won $11k NCHA, this mare is bred to be an athlete.
'Bailie' is a dynamic horse with all of the grit, try, and heart that you could ever ask for. She will always go the extra mile for you, and will never quit in the middle of a hard job or long day. She is beautiful to look at and has a fun personality. She is very athletic, quick-footed, and light on her feet. She has a good, balanced stride, and a lot of run. There isn't a cow she's met that has intimidated her or outran her.
Bailie was on track for the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity and then fell behind when Covid hit and the local show circuit was canceled. This is a really good opportunity to take an athletic horse with a great handle, and point her in the direction of your choice. The options for her are limitless, be it barrels, sorting, penning, or put a few more months on her this winter and show her in the cowhorse derbies or AQHA versatility next year. She is extremely balanced at all speeds and will set her head wherever you ask, whether that be low or raised. She is also great outside of the arena, alone or with others, and is extremely sure-footed on our mountain terrain. Bailie is not 'watchy' or spooky of her environment and isn't easily bothered by things.
She is currently under lights in a stall at night, and turned out in a herd during the day, but has also lived out, in, and in a run. She is good to clip, bathe, load, tie, etc. She has been immaculately cared for, has low miles, and has never been unsound. Her conformation is impeccable for a horse that is built to last. She has solid bone structure and good-sized feet, especially for a cowhorse.
Bailie aims to please and always wants to find the answer. She is a forward ride and is best suited for an experienced rider.
Located in Conifer, Colorado.
