DON'T LECTURE ME

2017 Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding, 16.1h
Ivan is everyone's dream. He ran three races (very slowly) and retired sound both mentally and physically. His next leg of life included being leased by a beginner, and then stepped into the dressage and eventing world and has taken to it seamlessly.
This guy is a total unicorn.

Let him sit for weeks or months and pull him out and get right on with very little prep. He is easy and fun to ride, great in and out of the arena.
He clips, bathes, vacuums, ties, is good in the trailer, good for the farrier, etc. He can live alone or with others, in a stall, run, or turned out. He is the middle/low end of the pecking order, depending on whom he's living with. He keeps well on hay, goes barefoot or in shoes, and is simple to manage.
Ivan would be best suited for a youth, amateur, intermediate, or even beginner working in a program. He is sure-footed and relatively brave. He is consistent and safe -- a true old soul.
He has been meticulously cared for and is up to date on farrier, teeth, deworming, vaccinations, and coggins.
He does flap his lower lip; it is unrelated to stress. He even does it when he's hanging out in turnout with friends, relaxed as can be. He also has a scar on his right hind leg. Photos provided. The cut never affected his soundness and did not require vet attention, but has left a blemish.
Priced in the low XX,XXX range.
Located in Conifer, Colorado.
